Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
also saying i can't use hdr ๐
i was able to set the res to 1440p on xbox, but 4k tv details says "๐ซ Your TV setup doesn't support 120Hz. Games won't display at 120 FPS."
same for HDR10
You will need to review the owners manual that came with your monitor.
Sometimes monitors support different tii hi has on hdmi and DisplayPort.
(Xbox uses hdmi of course)
Also if this is a Series S you need a different cable if you want to use 4k 120 HDR it only comes with an hdmi 2.0 cable and you need 2.1 (which the series X comes with standard)
on hdmi
my monitor doesn't support 4k, so 1440
Okay, if the manual says it supports it you might need to try a different port on the monitor if there are more than one, or you might need to refer to the manual to see if there is like 'game mode' or something that you have to enable.
Other than that, disconnect/reconnect the cable and reboot the xbox
ill try rebooting, but the wild thing is that it'll let me enable VRR, but my PS5 won't and yet it lets me do 1440p120
