#Having System Lag

I currently am using an Xbox Series S, and it is currently updated to the latest version. Whenever I am playing any game at all, I press the Xbox button on my controller to get to the guide and all the other features, but it always lags and will either sutter or just not show up until a few seconds have passed. I have looked at videos, and one of them recommended to turn off my Xbox, and hold the power button for 30 seconds to "drain the capacitors" or something, but that hasn't made any changes and I am suffering the same issue. Not only that, if I play any other game, every 5 seconds it will have random frame drops and it becomes very frustrating, not being able to get smooth gameplay.
