i was trying to play no mans sky with pc gamepass but we got a wrong version issue, then when i checked the version was the previous version and not the most recent one

i have tried restarting the pc xbox app, verifying the game files and hitting the "check for updates" button

if the game loads then its the latest version. You cant open a game if it isnt updated. If you try it gives you a option to update

yeah well if that was the case then why am i stuck on the omega update of no mans sky when we are currently on the orbital update

The update will be available when it is available. There is nothing you can do other than be patient.

yea but it released yesterday. and when i looked it up it said the update was out on Xbox

Okay. Sometimes global marketing announcements and “whoops there were so many bugs we needed to release multiple emergency follow up patches” conflict.
