Internal?
External?
Official Xbox drive?
Random 3rd party drive?
A random WD hdd drive u found in my room with 500gb on it
I found *
And how have you connected it
On top of the Xbox 360 fat model I slotted it in and nothing. It keeps saying I need a drive with at 190mb of reserved space. I have 500GB
Why isn't it working?
I'm still not sure what "i slotted it in" means... The xbox 360 'fat' had a side-mounted hard drive option that accepted a weird shaped official xbox hard drive module.
This is the xbox 360 fat hard drive module
If you actually have a USB-connected external hard drive, then you can format it for use on your Xbox by https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/xbox-360/accessories/using-usb-flash-drive
That's what I meant my apologies.
Is there a way I can put the official Xbox module on my new hdd?
no
Just use an external hdd
