Basically the title - the xbox app and the game bar aren't automatically signing in despite having the setting checked when initially logging in to Windows 11. In order for me to sign into them, I have to manually either start the Game Bar or Xbox apps. Steps I have taken to resolve the issue:
- Made sure any and all Xbox and Game services in Windows 11 were set to "Always" for running in background
- Made sure any related services were set to automatic
- Set the option to start automatically within app itself
- Uninstalled and reinstalled xbox app from MS store
It seems googling and going through community support that I may be the only one experiencing this? Just frustrating since I'd rather be automatically signed in when I start my PC so I don't have to worry about it.
