#why does my Xbox just say preparing console on an offline update.

I’m trying to offline update my Xbox because I’ve tried every other option and it hasn’t helped. Now I’m offline updating it and now it just says preparing console, is it supposed to take this long?

preparing console in a update is normal yes

when you say take this long how long is that? Should be 5 to 10 mins maybe and the console will restart with in the update. If its been more than 10 mins then you may want to make sure you downloaded the file onto the usb correctly and unziped the file

I never had to do it but i pretty sure it should only be one file the steps are on the page you download the file from.
