My pc xbox app (and its games) cant sync data.

Both my Palworld and my Hollow Knight take ages on their syncing data screen, and then cant even sync data. For example, in hollow knight, when i launch, it has none of my progress saved, and when i try and save and exit in-game it shows the saving symbol but then just doesnt quit
