Problems with the headset

We recently purchased a Hori Gaming Headset pro headset from my little brother, the case is as follows. I have activated the option that makes the audio of the speakers mute when connecting the helmets but when connecting the helmet the audio of the speakers is muted but nothing is heard in the helmets.I’d really appreciate a little help 🙏
