My friend cant change email in halo infinite pls help

His account got hacked a while ago, and he just got halo infinite on steam, but when he open it, the microsoft login appeared, he tried using his new email but it won't let him, everytime he try pressing the button of use another email, it just pops back to the please enter password with the hacked email
