I have my old Xbox 360 which still turns on and everything but the problem is that no controllers work. I've tried both a wired and unwired controllers yet none of them work. The console recognizes the controller and attempts to connect to it but nothing happens. Would it be cheaper to buy a new 360 or to just fix the one I have now? Btw, it's the og model of the 360.

How many controllers have you tested? It could be an issue with the antenna on the console but I’d imagine wired controllers would still work.
Bare in mind I mean an actual dedicated wired official controller, not a play and charge kit which does not data transfer over the cable

Are you sure the third party one is compatible with 360? The antenna might not be working anymore if those wireless ones are no longer working. You could try resetting the console and seeing if that helps. Probably cheaper buying a Jasper 360 on eBay as console only and then reuse your cables if you are sure it’s the console that’s the issue.
