Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
when you press the xbox button what drifts?
you only ever press that button when you want to bring up the guide or go back to the home screen, not while you're activelly running around and shooting things with the sticks or whatever so what is 'drifting'
When i open the xbox menu, it automatically goes to the bottom, when i try going up, it drags me back down
Its working perfectly other than that
I tried to but i cant even move the cursor
I would get with support they may tell you to take it back to the retailer
Tried updating but it drifts back
Sounds like your right trigger is depressed slightly
that will cause it to skip to the bottom
make sure you aren't pressing the right trigger at all
Anything i can do to fix it?
Or do i need to get a new 1
I got it from a sealed xbox x
Then its under warrenty
Is it possible to update the controller using a pc
Ive seen that on PlayStation not sure if xbox has that too
You can update it, but it's not an update problem
it's depressed just ever so slightly
So get a new one?
Yeah
I see
Especially if it's brand new, I'd just exchange it
Get with support they will help you out
They will probably have you regeister your xbox and what not for the warrenty side of things if thats not automatic by now i know my stuff always shows up on there website when i look at my warrentys
