Have you rebooted the PC? Have you tried reinstalling the game? Does your PC even meet the minimum system requirements to run the game?

If you don't know if your PC can actually run it, go and check that first. That's one of the first things you should know with PC gaming.

Abo it's possible your network doesn't block traffic with Minecraft servers which are probably independent (and abundant) from standard Xbox servers.

Try switching to another internet connection.
Or heck just no life Minecraft xD

Minecraft was mentioned, but that's a game that does work.

VPNs are not entirely forbidden by the ToS. Only if you're using one to spoof your location to a different region than where you actually live.

Either way standard troubleshooting is gonna involve checking your network. Very basic question.

Well you're a gatzu fan if you want to dm I can help you micro troubleshoot but I can't promise anything.

I'm only leaning towards it being a network related issue because I can spam click play on my laptop in the Gamepass app and nothing happens, no error message, nothing.

Unless I use another network.

And if I try installing it stays at 0% unless I switch.
Some games on Xbox cloud eat up 5gb pretty quick though for me, so using my phone hotspot wouldn't last.

You can try using a hotspot to check though.
