Hello, I'm trying to get my old worlds from Minecraft Xbox 360 edition. Problem is, my 360 doesn't really work anymore since no controllers connect to it at all. I decided that I'm gonna buy another 360 and another copy of minecraft since my copy doesn't work anymore. If I put the hard drive on a new Xbox 360, would it still have my old worlds or do I have to use the same console? I remember sometimes saving on the cloud and on the hard drive. I still have my old Xbox 360 account and have the info so I can still login.
#Trying to get minecraft worlds back from the Xbox 360, not sure if I still can.

if you're talking about the external side-mounted hard drive or the removable slot-loading hard drive, then yea that could possibly work if the drive itself isn't dead.
if you're talking about opening it up and removing an internal drive, then that's not supported.
Yeah it's that big removable hard drive I'm talking about
Do I need to buy the original model of the 360 or can I buy a 360 s?
you'd jhave to look to see which versions supported the type of drive you have. the slot loading one and hte side mounted one are different
Alright, thanks. Also, is there any way to tell if your hard drive works or not without actually using the console
not really... you can't connect the xbox hard drives to a computer, so it is just crossing your fingers i guess
