Every time I put a disk into my Xbox series x my Xbox series x makes a few noises and then nothing happens. Like no screens saying unable to read disk.

Does the disc work in any other Xbox?
Does a different type of disc (a music cd or a video dvd) work in your Xbox?

Ok well no that’s not the problem I can get the disk out easily it’s just that whenever I put a disk inside it doesn’t download it
I have had this Xbox for like s couple of months now
And it did this when I first got it

sometimes the console reads the disc but the disc icon is missing from home. That was an bug on the insiders before now.
settings system console info reset or something like that but in settings

did it take you to set the console up again like when setting up a new console like setting your language and location?
or did you just restart your console.

And I did all that and i still have the problem

alright has this is happening with all games and those games work on a other console then it shows the console disc drive is bad/going bad so you need to send it too Microsoft to get it repaired
