So, I haven’t used my Xbox in a bit, so I was updating it. Then while I was updating it, I was moving my WiFi into my room so the update stopped. Now, that isn’t the problem. The problem is that my controller is not connecting to the Xbox. I used it for other things like my phone and laptop but now it will not connect so I’m stuck on the “There was a problem with the update” screen, and nothing I can do. I’m setting the tags as both Xbox types because I’m not sure which one it is.

The only thing I found in this thread was a soft lock using WiFi not updates. Do you need my Source OS or Target OS?
I know I have another controller but I have no idea where it is.
Well I restarted it with working WiFi and now I have a Who’s Playing Today screen, still softlocked though.

When plugged in, it made a vibrating noise but I still can’t control it.

Then u can use a usb type c cable . Or just hold the button behind the controller and hold the button above the usb port at the front of the series x
