#XBOX App on PC isn't loading.

When I click on the app, it hovers on the black screen with the XBOX logo on it then eventually just CTDs. I've tried reinstalling, rebooting, etc, and nothing seems to let it load. I can use the web version of cloud gaming just fine but the app itself refuses to load.

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

I figured it out. Go to %appdata% then to Packages, then find Microsoft.WindowsStore etc etc then delete the cache from it

restart pc and it SHOOOOOULD work fine

I did a bunch of other stuff too so it might have been something else, but when I did this, it finally worked

Can confirm clearing Cache did not work for me 👍

goto Settings
Apps and Features
find Gaming Services
Terminate the app, then Repair it
Launch the XBOX app

Just keep doing stuff in this video til one of the things works, I guess. I honestly couldn't tell you which thing I did here made the difference, but I CAN say that it started working after I deleted the cachen but it could be that it only worked BECAUSE I did something in this video.

Several people in the comments say that the powershell commands worked, and they are:

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

then

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

then

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

RUN POWERSHELL AS AN ADMINISTRATOR BEFORE USING THESE COMMANDS!!!

guys found a fix for it

in my case gaming services where not working

thats why app was not launching

check if they are working or not by searching Services in windows search

then find gaming services if they are not working the check this vid out
