Gamebar parties unable to detect mic when minimised (clicked off or not visible on screen)

When I am in a party, gamebar doesn't allow other people to hear me unless it's visible on my screen until I click off. Another issue is that icons with indicators in gamebar will show with no text next to them. I just updated my gamebar yesterday and it's only happened after the update. Any solutions? (I am still able to hear people in the party, it's just that they can't hear me when the gamebar isn't visible.) Thank you
