I have renewed my xbox ultimate gamepass yesterday and i tried to play watchdogs 1 (a game that was free with gold years ago) however it said i needed to renew my subscription which i already did. I have power cylced my console, restarted my console, cleared alt mac address and removed and re-added my profile multiple times and nothing has fixed this. It also happens with any game free with gold even though my ultimate subscription is active if anyone knows some next steps or fix it would be greatly appreciated 😁

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

Nothing in the community support is related and the error code only shows a method to fix it by assuming that the person doesnt have an active subscription/ needs to renew

You probably bought it on a different account then what you’re logged in as.

You can review your subscription status online at Xbox.com and clicking your profile icon

Then you will need to contact support if you have paid for a subscription but it doesn’t show up
