Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
what happens when you try to connect it?
Does your console see your wireless network?
it turns out the info on my new router is wrong, the name and password 😭
it’s the only wifi name and password that are correct which makes no sense since the old router is gone
what does that mean?
the wifi router that i used to have has a different name and password than my new wifi router but the wifi i connected to is the old router
have you changed ISP?
if you changed your router then your network should be named the same unless you changed it or your ISP for some reason.
What on earth are you talking about? A new router means a new SSID
The WiFi name and password is usually on a sticker at the bottom of the router
i don’t know how to explain it
Are you saying that the SSID is the same but since the WPA key is different it's not connecting?
