#XBOX SERIES X makes loud sound while installing a disc game

I brought a brand new Xbox Series X a few days back and I bought some disc games from GameStop today. I’m downloading some NBA 2K rn and it making a loud sound? I downloaded Forza Motorsport 6 before and it didn’t make such a loud sound but now it making a loud humming sound while it’s installing the game? What’s the issue? Is my console defective?

I think it’s normal. When I was installing black ops 3 it was loud as well, but when playing the game I hear a very low humming noise and that’s about it.

Yes, that's the disc drive. Digital downloads won't do that, but when installing from the disc it reads the disc, which means it's spinning in the drive super fast.
