Add-on to game says installed, but keeps asking to be bought in game. | XBOX | Page 1

Game is Diablo 3. Add-on is Necromancer Pack. Have been playing for around 10 years. This problem started around a year ago, and I was constantly forced to log in to another account, and relogin myself to count the add on as purchased. However, this account has its own problems with password stuff, so now I'm locked from using the addon. Restarting, powercycling have already been done. Only step im afraid of crossing is uninstalling, since I might permanently lose the pack.

it says buy, but when im on the xbox game library, one of the add ons to the game is this pack, and it says 'installed'

so that tells me that your account doesn't actually own the game.

some other account that is on your xbox(or was on your xbox) actually purcahsed it

yes, but will that permanently be an issue? will i constantly have to login to the account that origninally prurchased it for the game to then allow me to use the pack?

it does seem like i resolved the password problems, but if this arises again, i'd be lcoekd out again from playing

if you don't own the game, then yes you will never own the game until you buy it.

if whatever this other account is gets deleted or you lose it or whatever is going on there you coudl lose access to this game that you don't exactly own
