Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.

U need wifi if u want the most latest patches each game have
What if I don't want patches or anything it's my first console after ps3 so even old graphics will look advanced for me
"You must be online when you set up Xbox for the first time. Without an internet connection, you can't finish setup. After your console has updated and you've added your profile, you can go offline."
I guess u could dont know why u dont want the latest patches especially since some bugs in certain games can be game breaking
Not all games are entirely on the disc either these days
Some games are too big to fit on a blue ray disk
Plus the disc may not include more than day 1 stuff
Is there a site or way to find which games are on the disc
Oh great
Not that I know of. I think you would want internet otherwise you are gunna run into issues at some point. temporarily being offline would work
Will the series also work on a low to mid range tv . I have a 4k oled one but I'm on a vacation so can't use that rn
I have internet and wifi but I can't download games with 10gb update sizes
Anything with HDMI
Oh thanks
It has hdmi I am in great thanks to this info
720p is the min for xbox
Alright
Also if I buy a game pass code do I really need the credit card stuff cuz I don't have a credit card
If u buy it physically in a store no.
If you were wanting to be offline most of the time not sure what use gamepass would be
Cause game pass u need to download it to ur console and need to be online
Plus game pass required u to be online to allow u permission to play games like lies of p horizon 5 etc
U can use paypal
I wish I could send a picture but the website says deliver code in a box
I won't be playing any online games just single player and free multi-player games don't need it I think
Multiplayer games needs to be online to connect to the servers
Lol I didn't say I don't have internet I have internet but no patience in waiting for a download or update. But I'll update the console to its newest version if u recommend me to
Then let it download overnight
There is an option in power options for keep games updated.
You do not need an internet connection to install an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S game from disc. You do, however, need one for Xbox 360 or OG Xbox games, because those are not installed from disc.
