#Xbox app on pc (windows 11 pro) refuses to let me sign in

No matter what i do, any time i try and sign in to the app, it says there is an internet connection issue. Not only that, but it constantly tells me to install the game services or whatever at the top of the app, when i click the button to install, it says it may take several minutes and then never installs.

I've tried practically every fix provided on both Microsoft support pages and reddits including WSreset, uninstalling (which then it didnt let me reinstall so i had to actually reset my laptop), running services like the authentication whatever, nothing works.

i got a code for a month of game pass ultimate free with the purchase of my laptop, and its being rendered useless because apparently microsoft cant run an app that is REQUIRED to be used if you want to install games from the gamepass.

If so, what results have you seen and tried?
