#keep getting an error called “unknown file version (HLL-Win64-Shipping.exe)”

no clue what this new error is but i’m at a loss i’m not even going to try to fix it on my own because every other week this launcher gives me a new problem so please someone let me know how to remedy this

at this point i don’t even want a computer every month it’s something new that i gotta fix and it’s so irritating

try updating the xbox app, or check ur system requirements have u tried that

make sure ur windows is up to date too

it runs my other games just fine, i download mcc and he’ll let loose this morning and those are the only games it refuses to open, i’ve had mcc before and it’s run just fine idk why it’s changed

have u checked ur game files thru their own launchers? idk if that makes sense

also i was just thinking it may be ur graphic drivers that aren’t up to date

idk man i’m just so tired of constantly having smth mess up

I had an error with an installer for Destiny 2 on Xbox windows and it made it so I literally could not play the game and had to switch to a whole Nother platform and re-buy all the DLC‘s which if you don’t know easily cost over $200, i’d rather sell this peice of junk and buy an xbox or smth

consider one last attempt for xbox support ik it’s rly hard to get a call from them trust me i’ve tried i’ve been dealing with my own xbox issues idk what else to say

if anything some last things to check if u know how to get to them is to make sure that u have the latest version of DirectX and VisualC+ Redistributables installed some games need that for good performance, or try to run the game as an adminstrator (MCC or HLL) and check if u can see the run as administrator option

check the windows event viewer it’s gonna show any error messages for the game and give better insight
