Hi! A friend gave me a code to redeem for a free month of a game pass. I have not used a game pass before but I get an error explaining that I must, "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page or device, or you may be ineligible to redeem this code."
After a while of trying I decided to give up. Instead, I decided I would redeem 10K of my Xbox points for 1 month of a PC Game Pass. Unfortunately, when I tried to do this, I got an error explaining, "Something went wrong. Sorry about that. Click TRY AGAIN to see if that works."
I did try that, unfortunately it did not solve the problem. Would anyone be able to help me get a game pass?
UPDATE: RESOLVED - I logged into my account from Chrome and was able to redeem my points through the web rather than the app. Thanks!
