Ok, so I just bought a wireless controller, got home, opened it up, and when I tried connecting it it worked great for about five minutes and disconnected. I went in did an update and itnresolved the issue for another five, and every time it disconnects I have to take the batteries out, unplug the Xbox, and then wait awhile. I plug it back in, reconnect it it works and disconnects again. This also happened with a past wireless controller. I’ve tried two new sets of batteries, one pair of which came with the controller and were sealed. Any help would be appreciated, I tried treating myself to wireless instead of wrangling wires but I’m at a spot where idk what else to do. I just spent $60 on a new controller and don’t want to have to return it.

I listed my issue in there, I’ve done all the basic troubleshooting, along with disconnecting it/forgetting the device, and I already searched here and forums and haven’t found a solution.

On Xbox, go to power option, and select Restart Console.
