Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.

If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.

In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:

  1. What is your issue?

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

  1. What troubleshooting have you tried?

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.

If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.

Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.

The Series X is designed to be used in either of 2 positions.

Straight up with the fan pointing upwards.
Or along one of hte long sides with the 4 'feet' downward.

#

If the Series X was not supposed to be used in one of those two directions, Microsoft would not have designed it in that way and would not show both orientations in their marketing / advertisements.

Both are able to properly cool the Xbox. That's why they designed it hat way.

#

Dust build up is not an issue.
If dust was a problem, the hardware engineers would have added more filters or a way to open it up to clean it.
Since they didn't design it in that way, that means it doesn't need to be done.
