I bought an original xbox recently, and I wanted to connect it to my new monitor screen that i use for my PC. To do this, I bought a Hyperkin Panamora OG Xbox to HDMI conversion cable. A guy recommended it in a youtube video I watched.
I plugged the power cable in to the xbox and the wall, and I plugged the Xbox video output to HDMI cable into my screen. When i plugged it in, it said on the screen "Not Optimum Mode - Recommended Mode 1920x1080 60Hz". And that is how far I got.
I would love to get some help, and get some steps to how I should connect all this or whatever. I'm wondering if i should purchase a HDMI to VGA cable? I honestly barely know what this would do but maybe it would work? My monitor screen has a VGA input. There is a chance that this isn't needed though, my cable might work fine. To me it feels like it's barely plugged in to the xbox, it feels like it doesn't go all the way in.
