Thank you for your post! Please remember the support here is not official and is handled on a volunteer basis. Once you have posted your concern here, we ask that you be patient and not spam your thread elsewhere in the server, that will slow the process down.
If your issue is regarding an account/billing issue, you will need to reach out to Xbox Support directly.
In order for members of the community to provide adequate support, make sure you have provided answers to the following:
- What is your issue?
Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
- What troubleshooting have you tried?
Please list everything you have attempted.
- Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?
If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.
Once you have posted, please ensure you have answered all the questions and be patient. Do not go to other channels and ask for help, that slows things down.
If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
You sure its Input delay or output?
I don’t know whenever I move my joysticks in games. It doesn’t move right away.
I’m js assuming that it’s input
are you cloud gaming?
No I’m on the Xbox
What brand/model is your TV?
Does it use the Roku remote and run off the Roku OS and everything?
Yea
Possible its your HDMI cable?
Okay I might actually be able to help more than I initially expected. I have a Roku TV too. You'll have to give me a second while I get the menus going though.
I tried a new one and it’s still doing it
Ok
I tried my own HDMI cable and I tried the Xbox one it came with
Try moving your cord to HDMI 1 on your tv
It already is
Okay so is there a * button on the remote, and if so, when you press it, do you get this menu?
Yes
Alrighty. Go into Picture Settings, then Customize Picture, and near the bottom should be Game Mode.
Turn that on and see if it helps a bit. It should, as that's what it's designed to do.
Yeah Try it should help with the latency
I'm so happy I could help. 😄
nice
Game Mode generally reduces the latency of the display all the way down to 10-ish milliseconds (not for every TV, but on average). By default, TVs have incredibly poor latency (up to 100ms) because it simply isn't needed if you're playing movies or watching TV. For gaming, however, this can be a pretty significant problem.
Yea I was about to buy a monitor but u helped me
Well ima play some Fortnite have a nice night!
