#Game discs for Xbox Series consoles

I would like to buy an Xbox Series and I have several games on disc. But on the back of every game box, for example on the back of the Red Dead Redemption 2 box, it says "ONLY FOR USE WITH XBOX ONE CONSOLES". I don't want to buy games a second time, and Xbox Series X supports discs, so even though it says that the disc is only for use with Xbox One consoles, will it work on Xbox Series?

The cases say only for Xbox One because the Series X didn't exist at the time. All Xbox One games, with the exception of Kinect titles, will work on a Series X.
