If you need immediate support, please contact Xbox Support.
Additionally, no one here can assist with Enforcement actions of any sort.
Even if a port is HDMI 2.1, the display needs to support it.
From the specifications I can find on the Internet, the native refresh rate of this panel is only 60Hz
Ah this explains it, TCL cheats by reducing the resolution to 2K to do a fake 120Hz mode (which explains why you’re limited to 1440p): https://www.techradar.com/news/these-cheaper-philips-and-tcl-tvs-can-go-from-60hz-to-120hz-when-your-ps5-needs-it
That’s awful, I basically got ripped off
U needed to do ur research. I wouldnt trust any monitor not made by samsung, acer, asus, sony, rog, or gigabyte
Or dell
Oh well either way it’s the best I could get for that price, I’ll be grateful and make do with it, I didn’t have a 4k tv even for my last tv, it was an older Samsung but sadly it fell down and screen got smashed to bits, tbh I’m only 16 and don’t need the best
One day when this tv gives up I’ll purchase better but I still got a great deal
Tvs is a whole different thing. Some of them say 120 motion but are 60 hz panels
Yeah this one had 120hz advertised with hdmi 2.1 so I automatically assumed it would support 4k@120hz
I did, I checked everywhere online, I asked in store
You are assuming I didn’t
Sorry
It’s ok, it’s just that I was sure since I read up about it just about everywhere online
Oh well, it plays halo nicely with 120 fps, 1440hz is decent
I just didnt get a tv cause some of the older tvs has input lag and i game in my room which i dont have much space so a monitor is fine 4 me
Yeah that’s fair
I have a 4k 144hz hdmi 2.1 monitor.
Its a gigabyte had it since 2021 no issues around 600 at the time. Now about 450
28 inch
I saw a few 4k144hz 2.1 monitors drop as low as 400
That’s pretty reasonable
Tvs without 2.1 port has bad latency input lag over monitors. New tvs 2.1s its fine
Yeah, this tv has 2.1
U dont even need to use a 2.1 cable. Only 2.0 cable to game on ur tv. U only need 2.1 if u game at 4k120
Well that’s all I have because it came with my series X
I wouldn’t toss a perfectly fine cable cause my tv is lower spec than it
True.
