#Issues with cloud saving retrieval on State of Decay 2

Hello,
A bit of backstory to make it a bit more clearer. I have 5 ongoing communities in State of Decay 2, and I play on both Xbox and PC, more primarily on PC. I am also using the same PC where this issue has had occurred.

Yesterday I have accidentally uninstalled State of Decay 2 from my PC through the Xbox App. I thought nothing of it and redownloaded the game today. My PC and the game are both up-to-date too.

After reloading the game, all of my saved data is gone. I have none of my communities there and nothing is saved, except for my key binds.

I don't play with mods, and I haven't changed any of my files at all.

My Xbox app still has the achievements and progress on it, so I am not too sure what the issue is.

In %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.Dayton_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData
, there is only two main files called "Helium" and "wgs". I've tried having other people on the official discord to help with the issue, but I've been told to further it to a ticket.

After this, I have received the following email by them;

Unfortunately, we are not able to recover save files or recover progress from accounts. In this type of situations, we have found that, it may be an issue with the email used to login and upload the information to the Xbox live servers. We recommend reaching Xbox support to verify the email you have and look your account if they can see any progress in it to see, since they are the only ones that have the tool for it. Neither of these where helpful and now I am lost on what to do.

Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).

Please list everything you have attempted.

  1. Have you searched #1091756150644555946 for anyone else with your issue or researched your issue on the internet?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

I'm using the same account and the same device. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I have not messed with any of the save files within or outside of the game as well. I have also not clicked anything else except the uninstall button that could affect it.

Many people in #general-chat are being quite rude and keep saying that I've clicked other buttons as "they cannot just spill coffee on the servers to mak you lose saved data". Although this could not be the case, I have not done anything to affect it at all.

I've tried contacting the developers again, and I am awaiting a response. If this does not work, I'll contact Xbox support to see what they say.
