Can you link which batteries you bought?
The usb port on the Xbox controller only charges the official Xbox Play and Charge kit battery.
3rd party batteries have to be charged separately.
The latest xbox rechargeable batteries (usb c) on the xbox store
I have the official charge kit battery
None of the official batteries uses usb c. The controller uses usb c.
If it is the official kit then plug it in while the console is on and see if it charges. There is an option in the settings somewhere I think that turns off the usb ports when you turn the console off
Rechargeable battery does
Lol
Think its working fine now
The usb c doesn’t connect to the battery. It connects to the controller.
Well thats how it charges
yes, and I'm trying to find which batteries you have. because you keep saying battery uses usb-c, and there's batteries like this that don't charge through the controller.
Oh sorry lol I meant this
Yeah I have this
I put it to charge but it stays on critical battery level
It does show that it says it's plugged in but I don't know
Probably need a new controller
you might jsut need a new battery
ok, so the usb-c connects to the battery for that. I don't think that battery plug and play, meaning you can't plug in and continue playing. have to let it charge up before you can play again.
i highly recconed the otterbox one
lets you hot swap batterys without controller turning off
or even just normal rechagables because those will last longer
No that's the thing
Im letting it to charge but it doesn't charge idk why
It stays on critical battery level
But it does plug and play aswell
It's probably just my controller that's not working fine anymore
I just got this brand new one
