#i cant reset my xbox one s

i got the xbox from a friend for free and every time i turn it on i get an error the error is "system error:e102 00000c01 800 70003" i tried to do an offline system update but if i try to do it i cant because the button isnt lighting up and i tried resetting to defaults but it did nothing

it could be that its just dead and needs to be sent for repair.

I would assume your friend couldnt fix it so said they give it to you

It could also be that you didnt unzip the OSU file correctly

i unzipped it in my downloads folder then copyed the $SystemUpdate folder to the root of the usb

if your sure that you done it correctly then its just past the point at this point. Microsoft do not repair Xbox one consoles anymore.

since it isnt loading past e102 nothing as i sauid its dead

E102 i belive is a failed hard drive

you can take it to a repair shop see if they can help. But likely you just buy a series console is what i do the series X is 150 off atm
