#SteamWorld Dig 2 logs me out of the console on boot

Just bought SteamWorld Dig 2 during an Xbox sale. The game is downloaded and installed on my Series X console, on the expansion card storage.

However, when launching the game, it shows a splash screen with a pulsating A icon. When pressing the A button on the controller, the game loads briefly the dialog to choose an Xbox account to log in with.
But almost right away, the game closes down, and the console logs me out entirely from the console, showing a "Bye bye Anchel" notification.

I then have to login again by entering my username, password and doing the 2FA prompt. But the process remains the same if I try to launch the game once more.

Restarting the console or forcing the game to quit changed nothing.
Though it should be noted that I'm currently on the Xbox Update Preview Alpha.

Have not found similar issues online yet, but I have reported the issue through the Xbox report a problem feature.

the only thing I can think of that you didn't mention was reinstalling the game.
