Whenever I put in a disc, let’s say most recently forza Motorsport 5, when I listen in I can hear the disc windup starting (like the whir) and then I hear it stop. I then hear it try again but then it stops. I am not 100% on if all the discs are like this, but all I know is my discs are clean with no scratches (I take good care)
Anyone know how to fix?

the disc is just there to show you own the game and will not spin all the time.

so then why can’t I open the game? it doesn’t let me open forza Motorsport and since I have an Xbox one I can’t download the new one from game pass.

it asks me if I own the game or app and if I have a disc I should insert it now
I can hear the startup whir but then I hear kind of like a tick and then it stops, then it tries to do it again but the same thing happens and then eventually my Xbox stops trying

Well it sounds like your Xbox is dying and either needs to be repaired or replaced
