i think that twitch needs to have ways to stop stream when your console is updating so that the update can be quicker. instead of having it take 1,000,000 yrs. like have an option on twitch to end stream with the press of a button on your laptop or phone.

I would also assume that Twitch can't stream when you're running a console update.

yea, its a tech issue for me. 🙂 i just want to end the stream instead of having it linger so that i can have my install come in quicker

It's not a tech issue, it's an inconvenience. It's not hard to end a stream yourself.

Stop your stream before you update. Or check for updates before you start streaming.

it happened when i was streaming and updates happen without notice when your in the insider club

No they don't. The updates are available before you are forced to do it. You only get forced to do it at a set time if you've not done it earlier.

So if you check for updates before you start playing/streaming it will install rather than booting you out of what you're doing for the forced update at the announced time.

As an Insider you can also follow the announcements that detail the updates. That information tells you when it will be available and when the latest required time is.

If it's currently in the middle of an update, yes. But for future updates you can check before you're about to start playing/streaming or just follow https://twitter.com/xboxinsider to see the announcements.
