Hello, I recently bought an Xbox the Series X like I mentioned in the title. After on average of an hour to an hour and a half of playing the console will beep and then shut off. This thing is brand new so I decided to trouble shoot.
Originally had it plugged into a power strip (I know not recommend) it's now plugged directly into an outlet.
I have ensured that there is sufficient space around the console (greater than five inches all around). There is adequate ventilation in the living room I have it in. As well as it's climate controlled a cool sixty degrees.
I've also went in the power settings and ensured that it is on the "do not turn off automatically" option
Now this only happens when I'm playing a game so I am leaning towards it being an overheating issue? However, like I mentioned this thing is brand new out the box. Another weird thing I'll add is that I registered it to Microsoft and it said the warranty expired four months before I even purchased it so that's confusing.
Any advice will help
