Xbox series s help

I was watching a video how to fix an Xbox series s that has no signal to the tv as the video said to hold Xbox button and sync together until it makes two bleeps but, when you press the Xbox button and the sync button until you hear two beeps it’s meant to go in lower resolution mode but it just turns off instead and I think it might be in’s safety mode idk
