Ok so I just got a new wireless headset yesterday and it won't connect. It says it's connected and gives the prompt but I can't hear anything or say anything in party chat. It's not detecting the headset. I can't seem to be able to connect it through the accessory app either because the only thing that shows up is my controller. Any fixes/settings I need to change so it can detect it?

If so, what results have you seen and tried?

if it isn't showing in the app then the console isnt seeing it connected wiych would explain why your not hearing anything. If this is a new headset you likley not set up up correctly or have incorrect settings,
Refer to the manual or google the make and model on how to set up the headset correctly.

also i just seen you said wireless if your trying too connect with a Bluetooth headset this is not supported.

i figured that but every video I've seen says the Xbox automatically detects it
