So, I need help with my xbox account. I have my own microsoft account with its own xbox account. But I also have my old one, the one I need. For some reason it wont let me connect it to my microsoft account and I am not sure how to delete the newer one I made on accident. Please help!

Microsoft account = Xbox account. There isn’t a linking. Meaning you have 2 account.

There is nothing broken and nothing to fix.
Pick the accoubt you want to use and stick with it.
You can not break pieces of a Microsoft account apart (like the Xbox or LinkedIn or office 365) to connect to other Microsoft accounts

Huh. When I use the xbox app I am signed into my old xbox account. But when I am in a browser, or microsoft settings. It uses my new account.

Log out of everything and then log in only with the account you want to use
