I am running a setup with a monitor and km, but i cannot seem to get my headphones to work. Only way they have previously worked was connecting it to my monitor, but the comnector on that is sadly brokn, no audio connecting it to xbox via usb or the actual headphone jack, and no audio in controller

Xbox does not support USB audio, unless it is one of only a handful of headphones that specifically state they are “designed for Xbox”

Controller headphone jack should always work though.
