Yo. My whole problem is what the title says, but here's the details:

  • It is wireless, however I'm connecting it with my PC via a type of USB cable that's used for the Xbox 360. I'd send an image, but apparently I can't send one.
  • The USB cable is third-party, certainly. HOWEVER, before you say "that's the problem", I'd like to note that, when I open Device Manager, I can clearly see the Xbox 360 being listed there; which would not happen if the USB cable was the problem.
  • I've already tried reinstalling the drivers, checking if there's any drive update, and nothing worked.
  • Yes, the controller is old as hell (can't judge me if you have in mind I live in a country where the new Xbox's are over 2000 in my money currency lol)

If it's necessary, I am able to send an image of the USB cable in the DMs

The plug and play cable (360 USB cable) is for charging only. You will need a 360 wireless adapter if you want to use the 360 wireless controller.
