#Xbox credit for gamepass ultimate not working

Hi all, i purchased a £15 credit to then use towards purchasing the game pass ultimate 1 month subscription but it gets me to add a backup card then tries charging it (i select the option to use my £15 credit.

The card will be for the future payments for the subscription.
