So, I want to install two games on xbox (fortnite which takes up 30 gb and rdr2 which takes up 84 gb) and I would calculate that I will still have about 100 gb free and since fortnite is always updating itself, I could quickly run out of space, so I would I want to get an external hard drive and put the games that take up space on it and play them less often, but I don't know if they will move slower or have smaller graphics that will spoil my gameplay on the hard drive and if I have to install them from the hard drive on the console when I want to play them or I can play them directly from the hard disk without having them on the console

u can play games off ur external drive. if u want to move from internal to external may take a while. they only time u need to move from internal to external or vice versa is if u r playing an optimized games on a series console.
But if not and optimized game for a series console I can play on my xbox one from external hard drive without having the games installed on the console?
yeah. i did that when i was still on the og xb1
and its black friday so lots of external drives would be on sale
Will playing from the hard drive make the graphics in games smaller?
no. i believe that only difference is load times but its insignificant on xb1 consoles
Ok, thank tou very much for help
