A beeping sound is never good. If it makes the same sound if you attach it to another device I'd say your drive has gone bad.
If I get a new one can I transfer the games from that hard drive to the new one?
yea you can plug several (maybe 4?) usb drives in at the same time and you can copy/move games between them
if your old drive is dying though, some of the copy/moves might fail
you won't lose any data though - all your purchases and game saves are stored in teh cloud
I mean, if it beeps and never shows the games on it you probably won't have much luck copying anything. You might be able to get lucky temporarily though.
So all my games on my external hard drive are gone???
Is there a way I send it to go get repaired?
Just but a new HDD and redownload your games.
