Hey everyone, Im not sure what the exact headset is but I know that I have a white PDP wireless headset. It’s always worked fine and I’ve never had problems with it until a few days ago. I turned on my Xbox to play and I hopped in a party with my friends and noticed that I could only hear them and nothing else. I soon figured out it was because my headset chat mixer audio was fully up on party chat and none towards game volume. The problem is that I can’t change the volume slider to make it go back more towards the gaming side. It’s grayed out along with the headset volume and mic monitoring. I have tried just about everything, I have updated my controller (even though it’s wireless), restarted my Xbox multiple times, gone through all my settings, and I can’t find a fix. If anyone can help that would be amazing. Thanks so much have a good one.

PDP site doesn't list the headset as official licensed by Xbox.
Does that mean you need an official xbox headset for it to work? That makes no sense and seems really stupid. This headset has also worked for quite a while now, so it dosent make sense why it would just stop working.
Official licensed
This is third party controllers, not everything else like headsets. Also ive never seen that error code and why would the headset still work if this was true?
Also I have tons of friends that use headsets not made by xbox and theirs work fine
The article is about controller, but the policy is unauthorized third-party accessories. There’s plenty of wireless headsets not made by Xbox that work, they’re official licensed.
