I have a headset with a usb dongle Hyperx cloud core and I’ve plugged the dongle in and I can’t get the sound to play through the headset. I’ve used this for pc gaming and it worked fine but I can’t get it to play sound or for the microphone to work. Instead it plays through the speakers through the room. I have a Xbox S.

HyperX has a bunch of wireless headsets, but only a few of them are compatible with Xbox.
Which specific one do you have?

yea you'll need to check the website/manual then to see if it says Xbox compatability.
Xbox doesn't have "random USB audio support" it has only "very very specific approved headphones support"
