I bought this elite series 2 months ago. Before you say it, its not regular drift, it happens when I:
The issue is that whenever I stop moving left stick when it is close to the origin point, it keeps inputting that, this only happens for the y axis. When I leave the stick not close to the center it doesnt have the issue(I will add another picture for this)
I will add a photo from the accesories app(forgive my phone camera xbox isn't letting me take screenshots from the app).
I really don't want to send it to guarantee because they will just give me a used one anyway. What I am looking for here, is there a way that I can fix this within the app, is there setting that puts a deadzone idk.

Well it's the stick not centering fully, so basically stick drift and for that I would recommend sending it back
