Recently bought xbox series x and I wanted to play 4k120hz. I have a denon reciver avc x4700h which supports 4k120hz on the '8k' hdmi input and I configured the settings to '8k enhanced'. I also have lg g1 pva which supports 4k120hz and both ultra highspeed 48 gbps hdmi cables from the xbox to the reciver and from the reciver to the tv. The issue is that for somewhat reason the xbox says "That didnt work" although everything should be fine. can anyone help me?

I can alsp say that the reciver handles also the sound bars

Are all your cables HDMI 2.1?

Check if the port on tv is hdmi 2.1. Some tvs have hdmi 2.0 and 2.1

Are not all the ports on the TV hdmi 2.1?

Anyway I just checked and the hdmi is connected to port number 2 where is included ARC/eARC for the sound and hdmi 2.1
